War Memorial Park

War Memorial Park is Coventry's premier park, it is hugely popular with locals and visitors, and there is lots to see and do. There's a fantastic play area, a splash park in the summer, formal gardens, and two fantastic cafés. It's also a great spot for conker collecting! Allesley Park

Allesley Park is a picturesque outdoor space with rolling landscape and established trees. Visitors can marvel at the unspoilt expanse of green space while walking around the park on the tarmac footpaths, which is also a well used dog walking venue. There's plenty of autumn treasure to be found, including conkers! Find horse chestnut trees along the main drive heading up to the park. Coombe Abbey Park

Coombe Abbey Park offers 500 acres of beautiful gardens, woodland, and lakeside walks, and it's perfect for a family day out, a long walk, or a quiet picnic. There are also loads of horse chestnut trees, especially near the play area and the lake bridge. If you fancy a hot coffee or other refreshments, then head to the café in the Park. Stoke Green & Tick Tock Park

The horsechestnut trees that line Binley Road offer a great supply of conkers year on year. You'll need to supervise your little ones closely, the trees are not far from a busy road. Whilst you're there, check out the 'Tick Tock' park or kick a ball around Stoke Green. There's a conker tree on Stoke Green too if you keep your eyes peeled! There's street parking available on Bulls Head Lane and Stoke Green.

Riversley Park

If you're happy to go a little further afield, try Riversley Park in Nuneaton. There's plenty to explore at Riversley Park - from the child-friendly museum, to the great play area, open spaces and the River Anker for duck spotting.
