Toothpick pumpkin
If you're not advanced enough to carve out teeth, use toothpicks instead! Simple yet effective, and great for kids. Image credit www.livecrystalvalley.com.
Boo! pumpkin
Simple, yet brilliantly eye catching! For kids, why not spell out their name or your initials? Yes, it might take a lot of pumpkins, but worth it for the impact! Image credit www.allrecipes.com.
Cat pumpkin
Because Halloween doesn't have to be scary, why not make a cute animal instead! Photo credit: Melissa Reynolds-James (www.bbcgoodfood.com)
Nemo pumpkin
Speaking of cute, this Nemo design requires the minimum amount of carving, it's been painted instead! So adorable! Here's how to make it, image credit: www.asda.com
Cannibal pumpkin
This one is super cool for older kids - cute and evil at the same time! Photo credit: Melissa Reynolds-James (www.bbcgoodfood.com)
Warning: Pumpkin carving involves using a sharp knife, so kids should get grown-ups to help!
