Spanning thirteen acres, Riversley Park has lots to offer, especially for families. Bring your buckets and spades for a visit to Louis' Park, an exciting and innovative play area with water & sand play and climbing tower. Walk by the River Anker as it gently winds through the park, enjoy the beautiful flower beds and green spaces before spending some time in the child-friendly Museum.
Louis' Park
Louis' Park is dedicated to the memory of Fusilier Louis Carter who died in Afghanistan in 2009. The beach-themed play area has a number of exciting features including:
- Sand and water play
- Climbing tower
- Tunnel slide
- Rope bridge
- Tyre swings
- Baby swings
- Wooden play frames and walkways
- Rocking play dish
Nuneaton Museum
Nuneaton Museum is a child-friendly museum, with permanent and temporary exhibits. Learn about the life of novelist George Eliot and explore the local history and art exhibits, all for free! There's plenty to keep little ones engaged:
- Colouring-in areas
- Musical instruments
- Brass rubbings
- A George Eliot themed board game
- Children’s Puppet Theatre

Toilets
Toilets are available at the Museum and nearby Pringles Leisure Centre, subject to opening hours.
Getting there and Parking
Riversley Park is just a 10 minute walk from Nuneaton Town Centre. It is well serviced by bus routes - check out the Transport for West Midlands travel planner for more info.
