The Summer Reading Challenge encourages children aged 4 to 11 to enjoy the benefits of reading for pleasure!
Summer Reading Challenge 2024 | Coventry Libraries
Every year Coventry libraries run their free Summer Reading Challenge, calling for children aged 4 – 11 to sign up to read six books over the summer holiday.
This year’s theme is Marvellous Makers. From Saturday 6th July children aged 4 – 11 can come and collect their Summer Reading Challenge free fun collector pack, stickers and goodies at a Coventry Library. At two further visits to libraries through the summer children can collect more stickers to complete their Challenge. Children don’t need to be big readers to enter the Challenge. Coventry Libraries have lots of books to suit all abilities and interests including picture fiction, comic-style books and books about fun subjects like sports, crafts and cookery.
Taking Part in the Challenge
You can take part in the Challenge by signing up at your local library. It’s completely free to sign up!
