Escape the ordinary, experience the awesome and try something new at The Bear Grylls Adventure, located at Birmingham’s NEC. Here's what to expect:
High Ropes
At 65ft tall, this is the tallest high ropes course in Europe, and rewards those brave enough to reach the top with stunning views of the surrounding area. With its free roam structure, you can create your own adventure on the course, and select which of the 36 obstacles you take on, from the simple rope bridges to the challenging rolling log on the course’s top level. Shark Dive
Get kitted up and briefed by the pro dive team before walking the underwater route. Be ready to experience the incredible as you take the plunge with over 1,000 aquatic creatures including Blacktip Reef Sharks, Nurse Sharks and tropical fish. Participants must be 10+ years. iFLY
Get your adrenaline pumping and experience the awesome sensation of free fall flight. In the wind tunnel, a minute can feel like a like a lifetime. Be bold, trust your instincts and enjoy the rush twice with two 1 minute flights alongside your expert iFLY instructor. Participants must be 5+ years. Book your iFly Adventure here.
Axe Throwing
Get ready to test your aim and strength alike as you unleash your inner lumberjack. Once you've been briefed by our expert adventure team, you'll be ready to head to the lanes and let your axes fly. Step up to the throwline and feel the thrill of the throw. Get competitive with your fellow thrill-seekers in some games and extra challenges, and aim for bullseye. Participants must be 15+ years. Archery
After getting briefed from expert instructors, you’ll head out onto the range where you’ll take on the targets. Once you’ve tested your aim, the team will encourage your competitive side with some games and extra challenges. Get to grips with bow and arrow in an experience that’s ideal for beginners and experts alike. Participants must be 5+ years (certain sessions only). Book your Archery Adventure here.
Climb
Inspired by some of the most breath-taking peaks from around the world, there are over 20 routes to challenge yourself on inspired by El Capitan, Fontainebleau and more. Get briefed in our Everest mountain hut before you push, pivot and pull your way to the summit.

Shooting
Your expert instructor will teach you how to handle the range’s air pistols, before you let fly for 30 minutes of shooting action.
Focus on the target ahead, keep your cool and pull the trigger as you blast your way through a series of targets. Participants must be 10+ years. Book your Shooting Adventure here
Snorkel
Discover the wonders of a tropical reef, home to over 1,000 species of weird and wonderful exotic creatures. Get up close and personal with the likes of Blacktip Reef Sharks, with nothing but a snorkel cage between you and the tank’s remarkable aquatic inhabitants. Participants must be 8+ years. Assault Course
The Bear Grylls Adventure’s Royal Marines-inspired Assault Course is a range of obstacles that will challenge guests as they race against their friends. Obstacles include scramble nets, monkey bars, traverse beams and a-frames. Push yourself to the limit and see how quick you can complete the course. Bear’s time is 1 minute 3 seconds – can you beat that?
Unlimited access to the Assault Course is included in every ticket, and there is no need to book ahead of time for this activity.

There is a wide selection of food and drinks at The Bear Grylls Adventure, including pizza, sandwiches, salads and a selection of hot and cold beverages. There is a range of gluten-free, vegetarian and vegan choices available. Selection subject to availability and may vary on the day.
Parking
It is recommended that guests arrive 30 minutes before their first activity start time. The Bear Grylls Adventure car park is found at NEC Car Park East 5. Please validate your yellow token at the attraction to make use of this reduced car parking fee.
