Not only does the coffee taste good at The Revive Coffee Shop, it is ethically traded and all the cakes, scones and tray-bakes are hand-made on site. The Chef is Alison and the rest of her team is staffed by volunteers.

The Coffee at Revive Coffee Shop is ‘Fireside’. It’s a blend of beans which have been fairly traded from grower to cup. They are grown and roasted by women which is highly usually in the coffee industry. Fireside is a blend is made up of 100% arabica beans from Brazil Portal De Serra, Guatemala & Nicaragua. The buyer puts a percentage of his profits to people who who were effected by the Rwandan genocide, a country well known for its coffee.

Revive is now beginning to be able to use its own garden to grow salad and other fresh produce for use in the menu. The gardeners are working hard to become a main supplier of vegetables to the coffee shop looking to use local and seasonal products. Many other suppliers are local to further reduce the shop's carbon footprint and to help support local business.

Each week alongside the regular menu there are ‘specials’, including gluten free and vegan alternatives.

The shop is also happy to cater for any groups up to 60 people (booked in advance).
