Designed thoughtfully with inclusivity and positive experiences in focus, these sessions aim to engage young people with additional needs, empowering them to fully embrace the joy of movement.

These classes are designed for young people with additional needs, including autism, Asperger's, cerebral palsy, cognitive learning difficulties, or profound learning needs. Our aim is to create an inclusive space that caters to both physical and learning requirements. Whether participants are in mainstream education, special education settings, or home-schooled, we provide a supportive environment where they can move, dance, play, and explore their creativity as movement architects.  

Explore - Ages 4 - 8 

Explore is designed specifically for young people with additional needs and their families, dedicated to the exploration of dance movement and sensory play. Our aim is to create a welcoming space where creativity thrives and curiosity in movement is encouraged. Led by Ascension Dance Artist, Ashley Jordan, we invite you to join us as we dive into the world of dance, spinning, climbing, and explore movement together. Venture - Ages 9-13

Time to spin, jump, move and play as part of your movement investigation in this new inclusive group aimed at young people 9 - 13. A space to dive into the possibility of dance and build pride in new creativity movement possibilities. Play, learn, create and dance in a space support by Ladybug lodge and Ascension Dance. Journey - Ages 14 - 25 

Journey is a new inclusive dance group group tailored for young people seeking inclusivity and belonging through movement. Regardless of disability, long-term health conditions, or mental health challenges, this group is dedicated to advocating for your journey and fostering a sense of belonging.
