Brandon Wood

Brandon Wood is accessed via a gate at the bottom of Binley Woods Play Area, past the skate park. This lovely wood covers an area of 178 acres which makes it great for exploring! There are a number of different routes through and around the wood - there's a map at the entrance to guide you. If you're lucky, you might spot a muntjac deer, which are often spotted in the woodland. There's a great variety of wildlife, so it's always worth slowing down and seeing what you can spot!

For more information on Brandon Wood and how you can help in its conservation, please visit Friends of Brandon Wood.

Getting There

Binley Woods Park is best accessed by car, if you don't live within walking or cycling distance of the park. Access to Binley Woods Play Area is off Craven Avenue. Whilst there isn't a designated carpark, there's plenty of parking on the residential streets around the park, just take care not to block any driveways.
