The event is FREE, but you will require a FREE ticket which you can claim from the BUY TICKETS section on the website. Birmingham Pride are delighted to feature some amazing local LGBTQ+ talent, choirs, keynote speakers, drag performers and a candlelit vigil. The area provides limited seating and a quieter vibe and provides the perfect start to the Birmingham Pride weekend.  Please keep checking their socials for further information.

Parade

The Birmingham Pride Parade march is one of the most important aspects of the entire Pride festival weekend, enjoyed by tens of thousands of participants, walking, marching or aboard creatively decorated floats, and viewed by in excess of 75,000 spectators lining the streets of Birmingham.

The Birmingham Pride Parade is a march for equality and justice, after all there is no pride without protest. The protest is relevant until every injustice to LGBTQ+ people around the world is brought to an end and universal equality is achieved.
The vibrant parade is also a celebration of LGBTQ+ life, demonstrating the LGBTQ+ contribution to the community and the city.

The event starts at Centenary Square in the heart of the city centre from 11am and the parade starts making its way through the city from 12 noon, to the LGBTQ+ village where you can join in with the other festival activities.

Birmingham Pride is excited to be back at Smithfield live for 2025! Smithfield live is an amazing venue just metres from the LGBTQ+ village and will play host to their biggest ever Main Stage, the legendary Conrad Guest Cabaret Stage, the ground-breaking Dance Arena and the additional attractions of popular street food stalls, community stalls, seating areas and more!
