Broadstreet RFC are looking for boys and girls that are going into school years 3 & 4 from September 2023 to join their rugby teams. U8’s (years 3) will be playing tag rugby. During the course of the season, Broadstreet RFC will be looking to improve some basic individual skills, catching and passing, running and some general game awareness such as position and offside. U9 (years 4) will begin to start practicing tackling skills which will be brought into games mid season. 

The Rugby values are the core to the ethos that they want to promote and respect is an important element of this. Broadstreet RFC will encourage the team to respect the opposition respect the ref, really respect their coaches and teammates and also have self-respect in the form of confidence. The teams are an exceptional group of players with teamwork being the core family. They welcome all new players regardless of experience and they ensure that everyone has equal playing time. Their coaches are experienced and fully DBS checked.
