Covcon is back at The Sports Connexion in Ryton with a galaxy of stars of TV and film for you to meet!

This year the Covcon team have already run two events supporting Maggie’s Centre’s and they were delighted to raise over £25,000 for them. For their October event they will be supporting the League Against Cruel Sports who are a UK-based animal welfare charity which campaigns to stop blood sports such as fox hunting, hare and deer stalking; game bird shooting; and animal fighting.

Covcon 2022 will have film and TV guests from Chitty Chitty Bang Bang, Star Wars, Father Ted, Hammer Horror, The Exorcist, Doctor Who and more! Come and meet them and get autographs and photos for memories that will last a lifetime.

You will also find some interactive and amazing film props including Gremlins, Harry Potter, Ghostbusters and lots more, just some of the fantastic experiences which will be waiting for you at Covcon. Come and meet some amazing cosplayers and grab some selfies!

If you fancy coming in costume why not enter the cosplay competition. Who will you come as?

Browse over 45 stalls of merchandise. There will be stalls selling a wide range of items including Pop vinyls, retro gaming, anime goods, comic books, jewellery and much more!

Car parking is plentiful and free at the venue. 

There will be something for everybody at Covcon this October and we are aiming to make this a great family day out!
