We are bringing you an incredible opportunity to come together with members of your community and exchange new or gently used books in good condition.
It's an excellent way to share your pre-loved items, get something new to you, and contribute to our mission of strengthening and supporting the community. The BOOK & WOOL AND FABRIC CRAFT EX(CHANGE) allows you to exchange up to 10 items per person. You can also choose to donate your items if you prefer. However, we kindly request that age-restricted items be kept from being brought along. But, we are not only doing books......
Are you passionate about fabric and wool crafts? Whether you're a seasoned crafter or just starting out, we invite you to our upcoming Fabric and Wool Crafts EX(CHANGE). This event is designed for craft enthusiasts of all levels, and we can't wait to see you there. Join us for a day filled with creativity and inspiration, dedicated to exchanging knitting, crocheting, loom weaving, macramé, cross stitch, dressmaking, sewing, fabric dyeing, and embroidery materials. It's the perfect opportunity to refresh your crafting stash, connect with fellow craft enthusiasts, and ignite your creative spark. Event Details: How It Works: You can exchange up to 10 items per person. You can also choose to donate your items if you prefer. However, we kindly request that age-restricted items be kept from being brought along; only raw materials are allowed—fully assembled or completed projects cannot be accepted for exchange. The following list classes as one item and is not exhaustive. Wool: 1 whole ball or 2 split ballsYarn: 2 full skeins or 3 partial skeinsFabric: At least 10 sheets of A5 size or larger Cotton Thread: 3 reelsButtons: Fill a small container or bring at least 10 buttonsTools: 1 pair of knitting needles or 1 crochet hookPlease note: Once exchanged for tokens, all items remain in the pool and belong to RE(YOU)S C.I.C.Show and Tell:
We would love to see your finished projects or those you are currently working on, so feel free to bring them along to share with the community
Entry to this exciting event is a steal, and all proceeds go towards supporting our various community projects. For just £4.50 (£3.50 GO CV+) for adults, £1.50 for teenagers aged 13-18, and free entry for kids under 13, you can join in the fun! Families can enter for just £7. We accept both cash and card payments for your convenience. As you browse the items, you can indulge in a hot drink like coffee, hot chocolate, squash, and a slice of delicious cake, all included in the entry fee.Our main goal is to bring our community together while promoting resource sharing and reducing waste. You can declutter your home while discovering new treasures, making new connections, and forming new friendships within the community. Even if you don't have any items to exchange, you can still participate by purchasing tokens to pick items from the donated pool. We're confident that you'll find something you love!
