Blooming Creations | Crafts

This Easter, explore the beauty of the natural world through creative arts and immersive experiences. Inspired by our Collecting Coventry exhibition, which features natural sciences from the Herbert Art Gallery & Museum collections, we’ll spend two weeks crafting, learning new skills, and celebrating the vibrant blooms of spring.

Art Masterclass: Book Binding With Amara Lawrence

Explore how various art mediums work with different paper types to make a series of pocket-sized notebooks to keep. For ages 8-16 - Parent’s are not required to stay but are welcome to do so.


Exhibitions to Explore

Coventry Open 2025 - A showcase of work by West Midlands artists. This prestigious event aims to showcase the quality and diversity of art being produced in Coventry and the wider West Midlands region, providing valuable selling opportunities for artists.

Dippy the Dinosaur - Dippy the dinosaur is a life-size, plaster-of-paris replica of a Diplodocus carnegii  skeleton. It became the first Diplodocus to go on display anywhere in the world when it was gifted to the Natural History Museum by Andrew Carnegie on 12 May 1905.

Warwickshire's Jurassic Sea - Discover the amazing creatures that lived in Coventry and Warwickshire during the time of the dinosaurs.

Collecting Coventry - Collecting Coventry explores a catalogue of objects managed by Culture Coventry Trust, that reflect 75 years of collecting efforts.

Coventry Rugby Club - A display celebrating 150 years of Coventry Rugby Club. Located in the History Gallery.
