Song and Storytime are a community group with the dual purpose of providing engaging musical movement sessions for preschoolers, and fostering a relaxed environment to develop a supportive community of parents. A stay and play followed by a music class for families who want sensory and music opportunities for their babies that is flexible and affordable.

Tea and toast is served as the children play until 10.30 so arrive around the needs of your family.  Weather you've been up for hours and are desperate for adult conversation or have just rolled out of bed for the singing you'll get a warm relaxed welcome.   

The 30 min lead session starts at 10.30 and is often based on favourite children picture books. We use sensory scarves, musical movement and percussion instruments to a variety of lively activity songs for you to sing with your little ones. Children lead the flow of the session - they get the opportunity to select their favourite songs and the class is adapted around their attention span, mood and needs. Children participation is encouraged and we love lovely loud little ones. 

Song and Storytime is a community organisation supported by skilled volunteers funding monetary donations from attendees and Hearsall Baptist Church.

The Venue:

Sessions take place across 3 ground floor large halls.  There is a small free car park directly outside at Hearsall Baptist church for our sole use.  With the main rooms being wheelchair & double buggy accessible with baby changing and accessible toilet facilities available.  The Venue is central next to a number of bus stops around the city and a short walk from earlsdon, tile Hill and chappelfields.
