We are celebrating a big birthday this year, FarGo Village is 10 Years old.  We opened our doors on 27 September 2014.

We will be celebrating with a variety of events to mark the occasion in style, a wonderful chance to reflect on our achievements because we are home to such a wide variety of talented creatives as well as original events and we are looking forward to the next ten years!

Friday 27th September

Get ready for a Night of Hypnotic Beats with Drft! To kick of our 10th Anniversary of the Village festivities, we’re bringing together local talents, including Sam Ford and Tom Something, for an unforgettable night of house and house-tech music. Picture this: a dark room filled with hypnotic dance tunes, pulsing beats, and an electric atmosphere that will keep you moving all night. DRFT is the perfect night to lose yourself in the music and the crowd—an immersive dance experience like no other, all taking place in The Box. Don’t miss out on a night where the music takes over, and you can truly let go!

Saturday 28th September

Join us for a weekend of diverse local live music, performance and family activities to celebrate our 10th Birthday. Expect all the FarGo Vibes, Street Food, Live Music and Performance. FREE entry. Saturday looks a bit like this!

• We are excited to welcome Highly Sprung, Stilt Man, Do Touch Monsters who will all be bringing entertaining performances and installations for families.
• Join Pop Bang Colour for  some crazy colourful art workshops, expect a massive explosion of colour

• We are excited to welcome The Last Baguette Theatre Company  Do Touch Monsters who will all be bringing entertaining performances and installations for families.
• African drumming workshops with Vieux Bakayoko, suitable for beginners.  No need to pre book, just drop in, limited spaces
• Join  Artventurers for some exciting arts and crafts workshops, make yourself a birthday crown or add your input to some collaborative banners!
• Join Graham Duff in conversation with three local musical legends The Dirt Road Band,  Horace Panter (The Specials), Steve Walwyn, ( Dr Feelgood) and Ted Duggan (Badinger, Banco de Gaia). Ticket required, limited spaces.  Book HERE.

Giving back to charity

FarGo Village has been part of the Coventry community for 10 years and to celebrate our birthday we want to give back to a charity that means a lot to us all here. We always aim to bring you a wide range of carefully curated events, free or at minimal cost Throughout the summer we will have fundraising activities at our events. If you are able, we would love you to make a small donation to our chosen charity to help out local people.

Our chosen charity is  Coventry and Warwickshire Mind, who have been developing and delivering quality services with, and for, people with mental health issues for over fifty years. CW Mind wants to help everyone with poor mental health get the support they need and the respect they deserve. This could mean having access to information, a listening ear, or more specialist support and services to help someone to live and recover from their mental health issue. CW Mind Just Giving Page.
