Emmaus Coventry and Warwickshire

At Emmaus Coventry & Warwickshire, people who’ve been homeless and people at risk of homelessness, find a place where they can enjoy companionship and support.

Emmaus Coventry & Warwickshire | Homeless Charities in Coventry

Emmaus provides a home, support & work opportunities to those who've experienced homelessness. They also have a charity shop on Red Lane.

Emmaus offer a home

They currently have space to accommodate 17 people at their accommodation in Binley, Coventry. Everyone has their own bedroom, and  there are several shared living spaces and a large garden area. They provide meals, clothing and toiletries.

Emmaus offer work opportunities

The people Emmaus support, known as companions, actively participate in daily activities. They can gain new skills and boost self-confidence in a welcoming environment. Companions help to run the charity shop, assist with furniture and food collections, and contribute to household tasks. They also assist with collecting bulky waste on behalf of Coventry City Council and North Warwickshire Borough Council. All these activities help us continue by raising vital funds.

Emmaus offer support and a new beginning

The dedicated support team works with each person according to their individual needs. There are plenty of training opportunities and there’s no time limit. Some people stay for a short while and others need a bit longer until they are ready to get back on their feet. Emmaus support people to move on when they feel ready to do so, helping them find accommodation and work.
